STATS

Weight: 100kg

Shape: See the image for full details. Two large wheels mounted onto a frame with a larger angled front and a protective rear panel.

Mobility: Two large wheels: they are constructed of 5mm stainless steel with the outer hub being hardox (see armour section for further details). Most of the electronics are housed within the wheels, and have heavy shock absorbance to counter damage. The tread is made of polypropylene. The wheels are re-enforced at the join to make it very difficult to remove them from the rest of the robot.

Motors: 2x C40 magmotors at 36 volts.

Speed: 22mph,

Turning circle: 0m

Armour: The majority of Dantu is constructed from it's hardox chassis - constructed out of 7mm hardox. The chassis is triangulated as much as possible to strengthen it against attacks. The central hub section is constructed from 4mm stainless steel. The chassis part of the robot extends behind the robot to attach a rear plate comprised of 3mm kevlar sandwiched between two layers of 3.5mm hardox.

In addition there is a 30mm layer of polycarbonate over the front panels. This is primarily to prevent entaglement rather than anythign else and reduce vulnerability to long spikes and gripping weapons.

The domes on the outside of the wheel are designed to prevent getting lodged on it's side. However, additionally the whole outer side of the wheel is 5mm hardox, and the dome is filled with aluminium foam to absorb heavy shocks and to prevent any piercign weapons from getting to the inside of the wheel.

Ground clearance: Generally quite high due to it's nature as a semi axle-bot.

Weapons: A large 24kg vertical flywheel made of stainless steel, approximatly 45cm in diamter powered by a LEM130 at 36v and spinning at 1000 rpm. Two hardox teeth, the teeth are shaped to try and knock opponents upwards and bludgeon them really hard rather than shred - buckling and bashing to try and destroy the innards of an opponent.

In addition to that there are also two pairs of hardox spikes - there is one pointing backwards across the area to the side of the wheel. This is primarily a spinner deterant - an fbs attempting to spin into the wheel would risk implaing and/or gashing itself. The frontal spike serves a similar function and also serves as a way of greater controll of pushing should it occur.

Srimech: Invertible.

Strengths: Very tough and very damaging.

Weaknesses: High ground clearance
